Entrevista Jeffrey A. Arce - creador shattered soul

1. Your beginins in this job
I actually began writing FEUD back in 1997, and over the years it just evolved into the masterpiece in which it has become. Now I have the first book of the series available through XLIBRIS, at www.feudbyjeffreyarce.com.

2. What is The Cleansing?
Imagin waking to a world with no recollection of who you are or how you got there. A world with a haunting past, and an even darker future. A world at the dawn of it's end. Now imagin being the one whom has been given the burden of that world's end. FEUD: THE CLEANSING is a story about a young man who awakens from a coma with no idea how he got there. He stumbles upon a secret society and joins with them in their struggle to bring down the tyrannaurus empire that has taken their world.

3. Why was your inspiration in this project?
I have always been obsessed with the theory of a dramatic and inevitable end, where in our last hour humanity will for the first time unite as one. But clearly, the book that inspired me the most was The Revelations in the Holy Bible. Though please keep in mind, my book is only an interpretation of that story, and should not in any way be considered a christian book. FEUD actually shares a point of view from a veriety of different belief systems, which the reader will discover in the end to be very relevant to it's final outcome.

4. What kind of art do you like?
I love all art. As a practictioner of various types of art myself, I have respect for anyone out there trying to do something with their God given tallents. I'm also into comic books, movies, and martial arts.

5. The best for you
If you take a look at my profile, you will find a gallery of hand drawn colored, or graphite pencil drawings; so if I had to choose a favorite genre of art, I guess I would say Fine Art.

6. What do you like to do?
My hobbies are writing, drawing, and martial arts. People also say I have a good sense of humor, but that's just because I have ADD, and I chugg a lot of energy drinks.

7. Tell us about your new projects
I am currently working on getting both my second book to the series, (titled FEUD: THE HUMAN OASIS) and a new version of the first (FEUD: THE CLEANSING REDISCOVERED) published sometime with in the next couple of months. THE CLEANSING REDISCOVERED will feature an all new beginning that will dig deaper into the dark history of the world that I have created for my series. It will also contain a short story that will set the stage for characters in THE HUMAN OASIS.

8. An advice for the new artists
My advice for other would-be writers is simply, do it for yourself. Don't do it for fame, or money, just do it because you want to... And never take NO for an answer.

 About Shattered Soul

The character that I have chosen for you to introduce into your world is called SHATTERED SOUL. Her true name is Vanessa Pei. She is a 30 year old Japanise American who was once an innocent young woman that was stripped of her child hood when the great war that takes place in my book had begun. One day she and her father are captured by a gang of ferocious cannibals, who brutally murder her father. After which she looses her sanity, and goes on a psychotic killing frenzy. She wears white and black paint on her face to symbolize her shattered soul. Her red suit represents the blood of her murdered family. Her weapons (nun-chucks with electrical chains, si's, and a long lethal chain that she keeps wrapped in her hair) are her vengeance. The woman is evil... Sadistically evil, but she is also emotionally torn by her haunting past. Keep in mind that my story takes place over a thousand years in the future, but to cross promote my next book, I think it would be cool for you to use her. Plus there is a hidden secret about her age that unfortunately I cannot unveil.
